Summer vacation at the beginning, my family moved to the five shops and a neighborhood. 暑假一開始，我家就搬到了五里店邊一個小區。小區里的環境真優美，大片的草坪綠油油的，一棵棵的小樹長得生機勃勃，草坪中間還有一條條水泥小道，更讓我高興的是還有游泳池和羽毛球場、籃球場等鍛煉身體的地方。
剛放了幾天假，天氣就熱了起來，小區的游泳池已開放了。我早早吃完晚飯，和爸爸、媽媽一起來到游泳池邊。我迫不及待地跳入
游泳池中，感覺真爽。但由于很久沒游泳了，心里還是有點害怕。我鼓起勇氣，仔細想了想老師講過的動作要領，舉起浮板，游向對岸。只一會兒，我就可以在池中來去自如了。我在池中游了一個多小時，天黑了，都還不想離開。
這天吃過晚飯，媽媽又帶我來到籃球場。正好碰到一個同學，我們就一起練習投籃。籃圈比我們平時投的要高許多，但我第一個球就投進了，心里真高興，一下就有了干勁。我又瞄準籃圈，投出一個球，可是，籃球只碰了籃圈一下，就彈了出來。我想：再投一個，一定能中。可是第三個球仍然沒有進。我仍不氣餒，又投了許多次，正當我快要絕望時，投進了第二個球。接著連續又投進了六個球，媽媽見了也很高興，接連夸獎我，還給爸爸發了一條短信息報喜。
假期快結束了，我不僅按時完成了老師布置的作業，身體也比以前棒多了，不信，我們開學比一比?
