　　Chinese style of crossing streets has been a hot topic on the internet recently.

　　Nowadays, many people cross streets without looking at the traffic lights. Why? I think there are two main reasons. Some people lack traffic safety awareness. Besides, some people are so hurry that they dont want to wait for the green light.

　　However, it has brought danger to themselves as well as to others. So I hope something must be done to avoid traffic accidents. For example, whoever breaks the traffic rules should be punished.

　　As middle school students, we should obey the traffic rules. Whats more, I will try my best to advise people to obey the rules. Only in this way can we cross streets safely.

　　Not long ago, CCTV "Focus Talk" carried out many interviews and made some relevant comments on the phenomena---"Crossing roads in the Chinese style".

　　There is a very common phenomenon around us that people just run the light totally ignoring the running vehicles, which can lead to serious consequences. Last week a traffic accident happened near our school, a rushing car knocked down a student who was running the red light. And because of the cars sudden stop, several cars behind crashed into each other. Of course this caused a terrible traffic jam.

　　In my opinion, effective measures should be taken to solve the problem. First, we can make good use of the media, such as TV, newspaper, magazine, to raise peoples awareness of obeying the traffic rules and road safety. Second, government must make severe laws to punish people who dare to break the law and run the red light.

When people cross roads, they might be in a rush for an appointment, so they neglect the rule of crossing the road when green light, as the picture is shown. From this picture we could also see that a horde of people are going across the road. Th disadvantage for these points is that the car would not expect the people walking across the street while red light, and may even cause a big disaster. Additionally, if a disaster really happens, a lad of people would be affected.
