　　August 18 we came to the Pudong Airport, this is my first plane, before my mother has been told to let me take a trip, feel the air feeling. This time actually really on the plane, and my heart was happy and nervous. Happy to be finally able to fly like a bird in the sky, can be nervous is the plane in case of failure, how to do. Thinking about the plane running up. First run slowly, and then add enough horsepower, call the sound, straight into the sky. After about ten minutes, I have a feeling of clouds. I look down nervously, feeling myself walking in the clouds.

　　Just when I wanted to go, suddenly, the plane about shaking up, then I think: bad, the plane must be an accident, my heart suddenly mentioned throat eyes. Suddenly, the speaker said: "As the plane was a strong air, please passengers buckle a seat belt." Hey! It is a false alarm. And after an hour, the plane finally to the Sanya Phoenix Airport. Remember my first flight is really scary ah.

　　八月十八日我們來到了浦東機(jī)場，這是我第一次乘飛機(jī)，以前媽媽一直說要讓我乘一趟飛機(jī)，感受空中的感覺。這次居然真的上飛機(jī)了，心里又高興又緊張。高興地是終于能像小鳥一樣在天空上飛，可緊張的`是飛機(jī)萬一出故障，怎么辦。想著想著飛機(jī)跑起來了。先是慢慢跑，然后加足馬力，呼的一聲，直沖云霄。大約過了十幾分鐘，我有種騰云駕霧的感覺。我緊張的往下看，感覺自己在云霧中穿行。

　　正當(dāng)我想入非非時，突然，飛機(jī)一下?lián)u晃起來，這時我想：糟了糟了，飛機(jī)一定出事故了，我的心一下子提到了嗓子眼。忽然，喇叭里說：“由于飛機(jī)受到了強(qiáng)氣流，請乘客們扣好安全帶。”哎!真是虛驚一場。又過了一個小時，飛機(jī)終于到了三亞鳳凰機(jī)場了。記住我第一次乘飛機(jī)真是有驚無險(xiǎn)啊。

　　Go on a Mediterranean Journey My wife and I have always enjoyed traveling by sea，and last year we decided to go on a Mediterranean journey. Although our holiday was rather expensive we thought that the high standard of accommodation, the first-class food and the many interesting places we saw were well worth the price we paid. We found that most of the other passengers were friendly and interesting, but there was one man, a Mr. James, who irritated and annoyed us. Whatever subject we talked about, it seemed that he was an expert at it. He had, apparently, read more books, visited more countries and studied more languages, than anyone else had. After a few days, we ate our meals in silence, because nobody wanted to begin a conversation that would soon be taken over by this man. Then my wife had an idea. She suggested that we might think of an unusual subject, look it up in an encyclopedia and then talk about it at dinner. If it were an unusual subject, Mr. James could not possibly know anything about it. The subject we chose was English Agriculture in the Eleventh Century. At dinner that night we discussed this subject with great enthusiasm. Mr. James was silent. We realized we had at last come to find something he knew nothing about.

　　There we bought many interesting souvenirs，I was planing to sendthem to my friends。We ate many tings there，such as fish，prawn，and so on。They arevery delicious。Then we lived in a clean and tidy hotel，and the price was not soexpensive。

　　I like Qingdao very much，and if I got a chance，I hope to come hereagain，it is such a beautiful and interesting place。

　　The Spring Festival

　　The Spring Festival，Chinese New Year，is the most important festival for all of us。 All family members get together on New Year'Eve to have a big meal。At the same time，everyone celebrates to each other。At about 12 o'clock，some parents and children light crackers。The whole sky is lighted brightly。 We may watch the fireworks excitedly。How busy it is！

　　On the first early moring of one year，many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door。 Some house's windows are sticked on red paper cutlings。

　　The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days。 So during the fifteen days，we always visit our relatives from door to door。 At that time，children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents，grandparents，uncles，aunts and so on。 The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival。 It names the Lantern Festival。

　　So the Chinese New Year comes to the end。

　　Will Christmas Replace the Spring Festival？

　　Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China。 Christmas cards become popular with students。 People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts。 A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on。 Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing to youngsters。 Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival。

　　This worry is fairly unnecessary。 Why ？One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint—ventureworkers。 Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities。 Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exoticfestival。 By contrast，the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family。

　　I think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West，a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China。 For us Chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals。 For centuries Chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year。 And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever。

　　My plan of next year

　　A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of a new year，I can't help thinking about my plan of next year。

　　Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success。”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，I'm quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others。

　　But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible。 While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it。
