　　電視里正在播放少兒英語節(jié)目，我坐在電視機前，也跟著一起說讀。這時，爺爺做完飯從廚房走了過來，笑著說：“航航，你英語說得這么好，能不能教教我？”，爺爺買上是快70歲的人了，還要學(xué)英語？我真的不敢相信自己的耳朵，還拍了拍自己的頭，以為自己是在做夢。我對爺爺說： “爺爺，我的英語說得真的不好，您找別人學(xué)吧！”。“你就別吹牛了，你的英語說得好的.很！”我也說不過爺爺，只能來教爺爺英語。

　　我們來到房間里，我開始教爺爺最簡單的英文單詞。我這個小老師像模像樣的從抽屜上拿出一張白色卡紙，在上面寫了一五個英語單詞，開始認(rèn)真教讀起來。最好笑的要數(shù)地三個英文單詞的時候了。我用手指著“banana”這個英文單詞，故意將小嘴的動作弄得很夸張，爺爺也跟著讀起來。看著她那很一本正經(jīng)的樣子，我這個小老師該很敬業(yè)才是呀，要不然就太對不住奶奶了。于是，我提升了難度，把這個英文單詞的寫法告訴了爺爺。只見爺爺握著鋼筆筆，照葫蘆畫瓢的在本子上寫下了“banana”，還不停地念著：“不拉了，不拉了……”我聽了，不禁笑起來了。哈哈，爺爺快70歲的人，還想學(xué)英語，還學(xué)得這么投入，真是一件新的事。

　　I like reading in my free time. I’ve read all kinds of books which are written by many famous writers from all over the world. But I like a Chinese writer best. His name is Xu Zimo.

　　在我空閑時我喜歡閱讀。我已經(jīng)讀過很多來自世界各國的著名作家寫的各種各樣的書。不過，我最喜歡的一個作家是中國的。他的名字叫徐志摩。

　　Xu Zhimo was born in a big family. His parents were good at writing and his father taught little Xu by himself. When Xu Zhimo was very young, he was interested in reading. Fables, stories or novels were his favorites and he often nearly forgot eating and sleeping.When Xu was about six years old, he began to write some short stories. He was always practising writing and he did better and better. But he still kept on reading, because he always believed that “Reading makes a full man, a ready man and an exact man.”

　　徐志摩出生在一個大家庭。他的父母都擅長寫作，他的'父親親自教導(dǎo)他。徐志摩年輕時，他對閱讀很感興趣。寓言、故事或小說是他的最愛，為了這些他經(jīng)常差點忘了吃和睡。當(dāng)徐大約六歲時，他開始寫一些短篇故事。他總是練習(xí)寫作，他也寫得越好越好。但他仍不停地閱讀，因為他總是相信“閱讀使人充實,使人機敏和使人嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)。”

　　When he grew up, his life dream came true. He became a world-famous writer. Not only Chinese but also people from other countries worshiped Xu Zimo. His writing was enjoyed by all the people. Everybody thought that Xu’s works were so nice and great. From his writing, people can understand a lot. I have learnt that if someone wants to be a great person, he must work hard!

　　It is generally believed that a high diploma guarantees a promising future. Some people identify high diplomas with profound knowledge and exceptional competence. Companies also tend to emphasize the academic achievement of a job candidate. Like it or not, there does exist a social reality – the higher diplomas one gets, the more popular he becomes。

　　On the contrary, other people claim that a high diploma doesn’t automatically translate into knowledge. A diploma, in their eyes, is only the acknowledgment of one’s educational experience rather than a guarantee of one’s ability. Therefore, we can never measure the depth of one’s knowledge by the grade of one’s diploma. Besides, many knowledgeable people don’t have a high diploma. Take Bill Gates for example. His dropping out of college cannot deny the fact that he is one of the world’s most learned men。
