A life without a dream is like a bird with broken wings, confined to a cage and oblivious of what lies beyond the range of its vision. All these things had brought so much harm to humans. And deep in my soul, I dreamed of changing the world. I wanted to help people in trouble and change the world into a better place to live in. But the fact was that my power was so negligible to fulfill my dream. Since then, I had been left in confusion and disappointment for a long time.
Last year, things had changed. I watched a movie called flipped. And the movie gave me a whole new perspective on my dream. In that movie, the little heroine tries to protect a tree from being cut down in order to build a straight highway. Although she tries her best, she failed. After watching that movie, I saw light suddenly. I surprisingly discovered that there were so many things I could do to change the world, even they were such little things. I could be a volunteer to serve others. I could donate my pocket money to Africa. I could smile to others and make them keep a good mood. All I need to do to realize my dream is to take action.
Now, I am still fulfilling my dream. I always turn the temperature of the air-conditioner to 26 degree centigrade. I never trample on the lawn. From my story, I want to tell you, dream is not beyond our grasp. Take action now, then you can fulfill your dream.
