6月25日是全國土地日。1991年5月24日，國務(wù)院第83次常務(wù)會(huì)議決定，從1991年起，將每年的6月25日，即《中華人民共和國土地管理法》頒布日，定為全國土地日。1991年的6月25日是第一個(gè)全國土地日，主題是“土地與國情”。“土地日”是國務(wù)院確定的第一個(gè)全國紀(jì)念宣傳日。中國是世界上第一個(gè)為保護(hù)土地而設(shè)立專門紀(jì)念日的國家。
