今天是我成為初中生后的第一節英語課。本來我就很不喜歡英語，很討厭上英語課，加上英語成績很差經常被老師數落，所以我也就越來越討厭英語，感覺上英語課很枯燥，討厭那些要我死記硬背的單詞。那些英語單詞我聽起來如同昆蟲的嗡嗡聲一般，讓人煩躁。老師還沒有來時我的心里就非常緊張了。
就在這時，一位坐在窗戶跟前給我們把風的同學突然喊了聲“老師來了”。話音剛落，老師的腳就踏進了教室的門檻。在老師踏進教室門的那一瞬間，我們好像感覺到了一股殺氣撲面而來。這時我偷眼看了一下窗外，天空好像也陰沉了下來。緊接著教師里馬上變的鴉雀無聲。我的心害怕極了，感覺站在我面前的不是老師而是兇神惡煞一般的惡魔。
教室里其他的`同學也好像和我一樣很害怕，這時只見老師用“惡狼”一樣的眼神環視了一遍教室里的各個角落。然而，環視完之后老師卻面帶微笑地對我們說“大家好，我是你們的英語老師焦老師。”然后又像開玩笑似地說：“你們暑假歇了兩個月了，腦子是不是生銹了？先讓你們活動活動腦筋吧。”她的一句話說的我們班學生都很驚訝，同時，緊張的氣氛也緩解了，大家都高興地笑了起來。我也非常高興，原來我們的老師不是兇神惡煞而是像朋友一樣讓我們感到親切、感到輕松。
隨后，老師就帶領我們開始“活動頭腦”做游戲，當然是和學習有關的游戲了。她在英語課上要我們說出不是三的倍數的數，要我們挨著都說，并且她還讓我們每個學生說兩個英文字母，就像接龍游戲一樣讓我們一個接一個的往后說，念到了后面，教室里只留下了一兩個學生了，其他的都被淘汰了下來。不知不覺中，一節課過去了，而我們還沒上課就下課了，意猶未盡。在這種快樂的學習環境下，我喜歡上了英語課，也學到了很多的知識。
這節課以后我們都非常的喜歡這位像朋友一樣的英語老師。

One of the best ways to celebrate Mother’s Day is to give your mom the day off. Let her relax with the rest of the family doing all the housework. Usually， dad and the kids will let mom sleep late that morning as they go into the kitchen to prepare her favourite breakfast. Never forget to place a vase with a single flower on the table beside the food. The kids can pick up the flower from the garden or buy one from the shop. Arrange everything nicely before mom wakes up。 Some families will carry the food and mom’s favourite sections from the newspaper to her bedroom so that mom can have breakfast in bed. Presents and cards from the kids can be handed to mom by themselves or just placed on the dining table.
After breakfast， go anywhere mom likes to go Shopping， swim or going on a picnic in the garden. Make a special Mother’s Day dinner or take mom out for a great meal in a famous restaurant she loves most.
