　　篇一：關愛大自然（caring for nature）

　　what is nature? it’s everything that exists in the world independently of people, such as pants and animals, earth and rocks, and the weather. now more and more people are focusing on the nature. it is no doubt that the nature is important to every human being. no nature, no life. because of the supplies of the nature, we have lived happily for a long time. and we started to gain every thing available from the nature. and this lasted so long a time. today, people have discovered that the nature around is getting worse and worse.

　　what is threatening the nature? air and water pollution, overharvesting of plant and animal species, overpopulation and so on. overpopulation is the biggest source of pollution. let’s take overpopulation as an example.

　　what does overpopulation feel like? when we move slowly through the city in a tazi. when we enter a crowded slum district. when the temperature is high and when the air is thick with dust and smoke. the streets are crowded with people. the streets seem alive with people. people eating. people washing. people talking. people sleeping. people visiting each other, arguing and screaming. people relieving themselves. people pushing their hands through the taxi windows, begging. people leading animals. people, people, people, people. as we drive slowly through the crowd, sounding the taxi’s horn, the dust, heat, noise and cooking fires made it like a scene from hell! i admit, frightening.

　　to the nature, overpopulation is a big problem. more people, more pollution. and the big population is threatening the nature every second.

　　the rapid rise in world population is not creating problems only for the developing countries. the whole world faces the problem that raw materials are being used up at an increasing rate and food production can not keep up with the population increase. people in rich countries make the heaviest demands on the world’s resources, its food, fuel and land, and cause the most pollution. a baby born in the united states will use in his lifetime 30 times more of the world’s resources than a baby born in india. unless all the countries of the world take united action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and more people fighting for a share of less and less land, food and fuel, and the future will bring poverty, misery and war to us all.

　　for most of the developing countries, it is a good idea to control the population growth. for example, china has carried out birth control for years. and this plan has a great effect on the world population.

　　if the population continues to increase, if the air and water continue to be polluted, if we don’t do something to protect wild-plant and wildlife species will be declining. species and biological communities have difficulty adapting to change. economic opportunities and the quality of life of future generations are also put at risk. by protecting nature, we protect ourselves.

　　let’s unite together, hand in hand we stand all across the land.

　　we can make this world in which to live. hand in hand. control the population growth. take good care of our nature.

　　什么是大自然？它是世界上獨立存在的一切，如褲子，動物，土石，天氣。現在越來越多的人關注自然。毫無疑問，性質對每個人都很重要。沒有自然，沒有生命。由于自然的供應，我們長期以來一直幸福快樂地生活著。我們開始從自然中獲得所有可用的東西。這持續了很長時間。今天，人們發現周圍的自然越來越糟。

　　什么在威脅著大自然？空氣和水污染，植物和動物物種的過度采集，人口過剩等等。人口過剩是污染的最大來源。我們以人口過剩為例。

　　對于大自然來說，人口過剩是個大問題。更多的人，更多的污染。人口眾多，每秒都在威脅著大自然。

　　世界人口的迅速增長并不僅僅為發展中國家造成問題。全世界都面臨著原料用量增加，糧食生產跟不上人口增長的問題。富裕國家的人民對世界資源，食物，燃料和土地的要求最高，造成的污染最為嚴重。一個在美國出生的嬰兒將比他在印度出生的嬰兒在他一生中使用世界資源的30倍多。除非世界各國采取聯合行動來應對人口的爆炸，否則將會有越來越多的人爭奪越來越少的土地，糧食和燃料，未來將給我們帶來貧窮，痛苦和戰爭。。

　　對于大多數發展中國家來說，控制人口增長是一個好主意。例如，中國已經進行了多年的計劃生育。這個計劃對世界人口影響很大。

　　When it comes to English learning, people may start pouring out their woes about how it difficult to learn. Well, as an English major student, I think there are several ways we can do to improve our English skills and make it easier to learn. Some English learners believe that extensive reading is an important way to learn English. I really agree with that. For every English learner, extensive reading is a indispensable part to enhance their English. There are some of the advantages of reading:

　　當提到學習英語時,人們就開始大倒苦水,抱怨英語是有多么的難學。好吧,作為一名英語專業的學生,我認為我們有幾種方法可以使我們的英語水平提高,讓其更容易學。一些英語學習者認為泛讀是學習英語的重要方法。我同意這種看法。對于每個英語學習者來說,泛讀是提高英語水平不可缺的一部分。關于閱讀,有這些好處:

　　First of all, reading on different kinds of topics can broaden our horizon. We can know about the things we don’t know before and learn about the cultural differences. To a large extend, we acquire our knowledge through reading. Second, reading English books or novel can avoid we speak “Chinglish”. We can know the way how the native English speakers express themselves. Third, reading is a good way to enlarge our vocabulary. If we encounter a new word in the book, we can refer to the dictionary, and then write it down on the notebook. What’s more, the more we read, the better our reading comprehension will be. It’s a very useful skill for English learner. Last but not least, reading can provide us with a lot of pleasure. We will not feel lonely if we read an interesting book.

　　首先,閱讀不同題材的文章可以擴寬我們的眼界。我們可以知道那些我們不曾了解的事物,并了解文化差異。從很大的程度上來說,我們通過閱讀來獲取知識。其二,閱讀可以避免我們說“中式英語”。我們可以了解到地道的英語應該怎么樣說。第三,閱讀可以幫助我們擴展自己的詞匯量。如果我們遇到一個新的單詞,可以查閱字典,然后把新的單詞抄在筆記本中。這對于英語學習者來說非常有用。最后,閱讀可以提供給我們很多快樂。當我們閱讀一本有趣的書時,就不會覺得孤獨了。

　　In a word, reading is a good way to improve our English skills. Try to read extensively, you’ll have a lot of benefit from it.

　　篇三：時間就是生命

　　An English proverb says that time is money. I consider it (this) wrong. Why? Because we all know that we can earn money be work but can not in any way get back time (in anyway). For this reason, we may (can) say that time is more valuable than money.

　　Many people do not know the value of time. It (this) is indeed a great pity. We must bear (keep) in mind that wasting time is equal to wasting your life.

　　英國有句諺語說，時間就是金錢。我認為這是不對的。為什么?因為我們大家都知道我們能夠用工作賺錢，但無論如何卻無法把時間爭取回來。基于此種理由，我們可以說時間比錢錢更寶貴。

　　許多人不知愛惜時光。這確實是可惜的。我們必須記住浪費時間等于浪費生命。

　　篇四：鄉村游歷

　　One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.

　　While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).

　　When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.

　　有一個星期日，我母親叫我帶小弟弟去鄉村游歷。她吩咐我要好好照料他。

　　當我們沿著道路行走的時候，太陽燦爛地照耀著，微風輕輕地吹著。我們看見美麗的花兒對我們微笑著，并聽見鳥兒在樹上唱著悅耳的歌曲，風景實十分美麗。

　　當我們感覺到疲倦的時候，我們就回家了。我們看見母樣正在門口等候我們。

　　篇五：讀好書

　　As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.

　　Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.

　　如眾所周知，書籍教我們學習人生，真理，科學以及其它許多有用的東西。它們增加我們的知識，擴大我們的心胸并加強我們的品格。換句話說，它們是我們的良師益友。這是為什么我們的父母終是鼓勵我們要多讀書的理由。

　　讀書是一好事，但我們必須多加注意書的選擇。不錯，我們能從好書中獲得益處。然而，壞書卻對我們有害無益。

　　篇六：旅行的意義

　　I am always interested in traveling. My reasons are quite (extremely) simple and clear. If anybody is not satisfied with my viewpoint(s), I shall be greatly surprised at his ways of thinking.

　　In the first place, traveling increases our knowledge. Only by traveling can we see (因為用(only)開頭，主動詞須顛倒)things outside our home town.

　　In the second place, traveling is good to our health. While we are traveling, we usually exercise our bodies.

　　In conclusion, I earnestly hope that everybody must seize (grasp at) the opportunity of traveling.

　　我對旅行終是感覺有趣。我的理由非常簡單時了。如果任何人對我的觀點不滿意的話，我將對他的想法會大大吃驚。

　　旅行增加我們的知識。只有藉旅行我們可以看到我們故鄉以外的東西。

　　旅行對我們的健康有益。當我們旅行的時候，我們通常運動我們的身體。
