　　由于邀請信是一種重要的社交書信，它包括正式和非正式兩種。正式的邀請信即請柬，它有固定的格式，一般用第三人稱書寫；非正式的邀請信格式不嚴格，使用第一人稱，稱呼也比較自由。

　　中文請柬和英文請柬、邀請函的格式

　　中文請柬和英文請柬有固定的.格式和措辭，因此不能簡單地以單句為單位進行翻譯，而應從整個篇章的角度去把握，使譯文符合目的語的表達習慣。請看下面這則例子：
